M365 Systems Engineer III

Job Summary

To enhance the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities within Microsoft 365, the remote M365 Systems Engineer III will lead the adoption, governance, and operationalization of these technologies across the enterprise while ensuring secure and compliant use.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Copilot across M365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
• Collaborate with Information Security teams to define and enforce governance, compliance, and security frameworks for AI-enabled services
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize Copilot use cases, designing technical solutions to drive adoption and measurable business outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in systems engineering or systems programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the design and architecture of Microsoft 365 and Copilot solutions, including governance and policy definition
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and information management in AI-enabled environments
• Experience implementing Copilot readiness strategies, including data access controls and content lifecycle management
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, automation, and scripting skills (PowerShell, Graph API, or similar)
