Job Summary
Providing legal guidance on merger and acquisition transactions, the remote M&A Counsel - Colorado Licensed will review and negotiate agreements, conduct due diligence, and collaborate with business partners while maintaining a current knowledge of legal developments.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting, structuring, and negotiating agreements related to M&A
- Conducting legal due diligence efforts and assisting with firm-wide due diligence
- Collaborating with business partners and overseeing the work of outside counsel
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado or another state
- 4 or more years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions law
- Financial services experience preferred
