MA Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time MA Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management for college students, working remotely with a flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 12:00 AM Eastern Time.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
- Engage with patients through a collaboration portal and document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
- Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary
Required qualifications
- Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in MA; multi-state licensure is a plus
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting
- Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students
- Understanding of culturally responsive treatment with experience in diverse patient groups
- Equipped with a quality video camera and stable internet connection for virtual care
