Macedonian English Court Interpreter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Macedonian English Freelance Court Interpreter (U.S. Citizen) for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation between Macedonian and English
• Lead telephonic or video conference interpretations between U.S. government officials and individuals with low English proficiency
• Perform virtual remote interpretation using platforms like MS Teams and Zoom

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States
• Minimum four years of experience in consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation
• Training in the interpreting field or extensive experience in court or legal environments
• Strong command of legal vocabulary in both English and Macedonian
• Certification in interpretation from recognized organizations is desired
