Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to support their Insurance AI team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature processing, model training, deployment, and monitoring within AWS cloud environments
• Extend and adapt existing ML tooling and infrastructure developed by the Sydney team to suit US-specific use cases and requirements
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to understand their workflow needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or ML-focused Software Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a history of writing clean, tested, and production-grade code
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas
• Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing ML pipelines in production environments
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with data engineering tools like Airflow, Spark, or dbt
