Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support advanced AI safety and security initiatives, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning systems across various applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects from research to production.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for multimodal domains including text, image, and audio
• Develop classification systems for safety, security, and intelligence applications, conducting experiments to benchmark AI models
• Own ML projects from initial research and prototyping through production deployment and monitoring, partnering with software engineers for system integration

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in building and deploying machine learning systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Experience with computer vision or natural language processing, including training and deploying models in production environments
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices, along with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
• Experience designing evaluation methodologies and benchmarking systems for model performance
