Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team, the remote Machine Learning Engineer will build, maintain, and improve production-grade machine learning systems for search, recommendations, personalization, and computer vision across a global-scale consumer platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance machine learning systems that support search, recommendations, and predictive modeling
• Develop and integrate models to improve recommendation quality and user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into scalable ML solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in building, deploying, or maintaining machine learning systems in production
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Experience with consumer-facing products where machine learning impacts user engagement and personalization
• Ability to design ML systems considering data quality, model evaluation, and scalability
