Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Bridging the gap between data science and large-scale distributed systems, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy online machine learning models to detect evolving fraud patterns while maintaining an automated model training and deployment infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy online machine learning models to catch evolving fraud vectors in real time
• Engineer high-frequency time-series features from large behavioral datasets, optimizing for low-latency signal extraction
• Maintain and enhance automated model training and deployment infrastructure to ensure seamless CI/CD processes

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in building and deploying large-scale machine learning models in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Java or Scala, as well as Python for data analysis and model prototyping
• Practical experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and working with NoSQL data stores
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling and standard machine learning algorithms
• Ability to reason through data consistency and performance constraints in a distributed cloud environment
