Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Machine Learning Engineer on the New AI Initiatives team will translate complex business problems into machine learning workflows, leading data science projects and developing algorithms for manufacturing and business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex data science and analytics projects focused on process improvement and predictive analytics
• Independently develop data science models and algorithms, implementing best practices in software development
• Define and implement data ingestion, preparation, and governance for large datasets supporting analytics workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience
• Strong background in supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms
• Experience in project management and guiding less experienced team members
• Proficiency in developing and testing machine learning or statistical projects
• Knowledge of version control and disciplined software development processes
