Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To develop data and AI-driven automated solutions at a global scale, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer III will collaborate with product managers and software engineers to deliver AI solutions that enhance payroll processing experiences through predictive analytics and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI solutions that provide value to payroll administrators
• Utilize Workday's AI development environment to work with HR and Payroll datasets for enhanced customer experiences
• Engage in data exploration, transformation, and model enhancement to drive impactful machine learning products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning software development role, or equivalent experience in a PhD program
• 3+ years of experience with Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, or multi-agent AI systems
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred
• Experience in handling large-scale data sets and productizing machine learning algorithms
