Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing the safety and fairness of large language models, the full-time Machine Learning Engineer will develop datasets and models for content safety, robustness, and ML fairness while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop datasets and models for training and evaluating systems related to content safety and ML fairness
• Research and implement techniques for bias detection and mitigation in large language models
• Define and track key metrics for responsible behavior and usage of LLMs

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and algorithms
• Hands-on programming experience in Python and knowledge of ML frameworks like Keras or PyTorch
• Experience in areas such as Content Safety, ML Fairness, or AI Model Security for at least 1 year
