Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of high-impact ML systems, the contract Software Engineer will manage the internal ML development environment and collaborate with research scientists to transition models from research to production in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Build training and inference infrastructure for research teams, including experiment tracking and benchmarking
• Design and operate scalable AI systems for processing large-scale unstructured healthcare data
• Establish feedback loops and data flywheels to continuously enhance model performance in production

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in machine learning
• Proven experience in designing and deploying AI/ML systems end-to-end
• Strong understanding of evaluation datasets, metrics, and validation strategies
• Experience in developing scalable architectures for AI applications
• Ability to mentor and promote best practices among AI/ML engineers
