Machine Learning Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and train deep learning models for camera-based perception to enable object detection and scene understanding
• Implement production-quality machine learning code to support training, evaluation, and inference of models for camera perception systems
• Analyze model performance across various driving scenarios, identify failure modes, and improve robustness and generalization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related technical field with at least 4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience
• Experience in developing machine learning or deep learning models for computer vision or perception systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch, with experience in production-quality coding of ML algorithms
• Experience in training and evaluating machine learning models using large datasets and adaptive computing environments
• Understanding of modern deep learning architectures used in perception systems, such as CNNs, transformers, or multitask training models
