Machine Learning Engineer II

Job Summary

To support enterprise AI initiatives, the contract-to-hire Machine Learning Engineer II will design and develop scalable machine learning frameworks and production-quality Python applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable machine learning frameworks and reusable platform capabilities
• Build production-quality Python applications and tooling for deep learning model development and deployment
• Collaborate with machine learning researchers and data scientists to enhance the organization's machine learning platform

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong Python development skills with experience in writing clean, maintainable, production-quality code
• Experience building scalable software systems and applying modern software engineering best practices
• Familiarity with deep learning concepts and contemporary machine learning workflows
• Experience with technologies such as PyTorch, Apache Spark, or MLOps is preferred
