Job Summary
To support a modern enterprise data ecosystem, the fully remote Machine Learning Engineer II will develop, build, and operationalize scalable predictive modeling applications using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, leading end-to-end ML workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions using Databricks technologies, including feature engineering and model validation
- Build scalable ML pipelines across the full lifecycle, from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring
- Implement CI/CD and model lifecycle management using MLflow and Databricks Workflows to ensure production deployment and governance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Data Engineering with expertise in Databricks technologies
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL, along with experience in building production-grade ML pipelines
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling, as well as AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence ML engineering methodologies across teams
