Job Summary
Focusing on advancing Bird's Eye View (BEV) perception capabilities, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer II will design, develop, and improve machine learning models for autonomous trucks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance environmental understanding and system performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design and improve machine learning models for perception systems
- Own model development from data preparation to integration and evaluation
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience
- Experience developing machine learning models for computer vision or perception
- Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch
- Experience with image-based and/or 3D perception systems
- Solid understanding of deep learning architectures for perception applications
