Machine Learning Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager II, Machine Learning-Search.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the search backend team, focusing on indexing, document ranking, personalization, and infrastructure efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance user search experience and drive innovative applications of NLP and Vision Models
• Mentor team members and provide visibility into the team's impact to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a machine learning-based engineering team of 5 or more
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Experience with large-scale production search, recommendation, or ads systems utilizing machine learning
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Applied machine learning experience preferred; knowledge in recommendation systems, NLP, and computer vision is a plus
