Job Summary

To lead a high-performing team in a flexible 4-day-per-week role, the remote Machine Learning Engineering Manager will manage the development of production machine learning solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration while driving measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of machine learning engineers
• Managing a portfolio of machine learning experiments and balancing short-term delivery with long-term innovation
• Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to support scalable ML systems and tooling

Required qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in machine learning, data science, or ML-focused software engineering
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring technical teams
• Deep expertise in machine learning engineering or applied statistics, with a strong working knowledge of both
• Experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact
