Machine Learning Researcher

Job Summary

Focused on audio data quality, the full-time Machine Learning Researcher will lead the evaluation and optimization of large-scale speech datasets used to train audio and multimodal models, conducting original research and developing new metrics and frameworks in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research audio data quality and its impact on machine learning model performance
• Develop metrics, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks for measuring audio data quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and communicate the value of audio data assets

Required qualifications

• PhD or equivalent Master's degree with 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning, audio signal processing, or a related field
• Proven experience in designing and conducting data evaluations and audio analyses
• Strong understanding of speech/audio data properties and their implications for model behavior
• Experience developing or evaluating metrics and frameworks for ML systems and data quality
• Ability to transition between research and practical implementation of findings
