Job Summary
To advance innovative digital dentistry solutions, the full-time Junior Machine Learning Researcher will develop, evaluate, and optimize machine learning algorithms, focusing on deep learning and computer vision applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a primarily remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Define machine learning requirements and design, train, validate, and optimize models using dental imaging data
- Collaborate with software and data engineers to enhance data pipelines and integrate machine learning solutions into products
- Monitor advancements in machine learning and contribute to intellectual property generation and compliance with quality management systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing machine learning solutions, preferably in a regulated medical device or healthcare environment
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Experience with software development best practices, including source control systems like Git
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, statistics, and applied mathematics
