Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist to develop scientific methodologies and workflows for therapeutic discovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new scientific methodologies for understanding and designing biomolecules, particularly proteins
• Create usable, deployable code for new methods to enhance lab processes
• Deploy workflows on HPC and cloud platforms, providing user-friendly interfaces for medicinal chemists

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD degree in a life or physical science or a computational field
• Expert in Python with experience in scientific software development
• Experience deploying software workflows on cloud and/or HPC platforms
• Experience with collaborative code bases, including code reviews and writing tests
• Basic understanding of modern machine learning methods applied to molecular generation and optimization
