Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist, Personalization (Open to Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and iterate on recommender systems and personalization models
• Develop models for online marketing use cases, including customer segmentation and audience targeting
• Define success metrics and validate model performance through offline evaluation and online experimentation

Required Qualifications

• Masters with 2+ years of applied work experience OR PhD in a relevant quantitative field
• Strong proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets
• Experience taking models from development to production
• Solid understanding of experimentation and measurement
