Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a permanent capacity, the Machine Learning Scientist will design, implement, and deploy machine learning models that drive real-time decision-making while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize scalable ML pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing machine learning models for real-time decisioning
• Building and optimizing scalable ML pipelines to facilitate rapid experimentation
• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams while owning projects end to end

Required qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in building and deploying machine learning models from first principles
• Hands-on experience in distributed computing environments such as Spark
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and model development
• Experience in designing and running experiments rather than relying on pre-built models or APIs
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable machine learning solutions
