Job Summary

Seeking Machine Translation Post-Editors with Simplified Chinese, the freelance role will involve performing light and full post-editing on machine translation outputs remotely, ensuring quality and accuracy in accordance with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post-editing on machine translation outputs to ensure accuracy and adherence to client guidelines
• Provide corrections and optimize text based on machine translation outputs while maintaining grammatical accuracy
• Utilize translation memory tools and adhere to project instructions, including style guides and glossaries

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native speaker of Simplified Chinese with machine translation post-editing experience
• Preferred experience in translation and proofreading, particularly in IT and software
• Excellent command of English in both comprehension and writing
• Familiarity with translation memory tools and translation management systems
