Job Summary
Designing and shipping the privileged daemon and system extensions, the full-time remote macOS Endpoint Engineer will own EDR-class detection and prevention, focusing on high-fidelity signal generation from user and system activity.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship the macOS agent components that observe and signal user and system activity
- Own end-to-end EDR-class detection and prevention capabilities, including sensor instrumentation and event correlation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor signals into on-device classification and policy enforcement
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering production native systems software, particularly in endpoint security
- Deep knowledge of macOS internals, including process lifecycle and memory management
- Hands-on experience with the Endpoint Security framework and Network Extensions
- Strong debugging skills and experience with performance tracing tools
- Proficiency in scripting for tooling and test automation (Python, shell, etc.)
