macOS Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

As a macOS authority for the runtime enforcement layer of an Identity Security Platform, the full-time remote Senior/Staff Software Development Engineer will design, build, and manage the Endpoint Security client, ensuring real-time enforcement decisions and system stability across macOS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the Endpoint Security client, including process execution and synchronous authorization events
• Drive down enforce-mode latency on the authorization path while extending enforcement across network and content control
• Mentor engineers on macOS systems and Endpoint Security while collaborating with cross-functional teams on shared policy and architecture

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems-level software engineering with a focus on macOS system software
• Deep understanding of macOS internals, including the Endpoint Security framework and System Extensions
• Hands-on experience with synchronous authorization paths and the macOS deployment reality
• Demonstrated experience with AI-driven development tools and systems design patterns
• Full-lifecycle experience in an agile environment, including product release and technical leadership on complex initiatives
