Magento Backend Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Magento Backend Developer for a full-time remote position, responsible for architecting and developing custom Magento modules, maintaining APIs, and conducting code reviews to enhance customer engagement platforms in a dynamic team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop custom Magento modules, plugins, and extensions following best practices
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for front-end and third-party integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Magento performance and functionality issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce)
• Proficient in PHP 8.x and the Magento 2 module development framework
• Solid Python skills for writing production-quality scripts and utilities
• Hands-on experience with MariaDB, including schema design and query optimization
• Proficiency with Linux server administration and Nginx configuration
