Maine Licensed Adjunct Nutrition Faculty

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member for the Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Doctor of Clinical Nutrition programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide students through their educational experience while ensuring student success
• Provide timely responses to student inquiries and facilitate class instruction through regular engagement in the online course portal
• Host virtual office hours and post weekly announcements to enhance course content

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field and current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Licensure
• Terminal degree in Nutrition or related field
• Minimum of three years teaching experience in Nutrition, Research Methods, Statistics, or a combination of these
• Experience teaching online and a passion for teaching Nutrition science
• Experience using the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management system is preferred
