Maine Licensed Clinical Pharmacist
Job Summary
To ensure high-quality and cost-effective medication management, the full-time Maine Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will develop and execute clinical initiatives, provide pharmacy expertise, and collaborate with health plan partners in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and implements clinical pharmacy strategies to enhance pharmacy management outcomes
- Monitors pharmacy-related quality measures and collaborates with internal teams to address medication-related gaps in care
- Acts as a drug information expert and supports the maintenance of the Health Plan Drug Formulary
Required qualifications
- Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with relevant clinical experience
- Current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Maine
- 3+ years of experience in retail, hospital, or managed care pharmacy
- Extensive knowledge of drug products, medical therapeutics, and pharmacy claims processing
- Ability to function independently and make sound decisions while handling confidential information
