Job Summary
Providing real-time clinical leadership and support, the part-time Relief Clinical Supervisor for the Maine Crisis Line will guide crisis support specialists during active contacts, assist with risk assessments, and ensure high-quality care in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the clinical lead during assigned shifts, offering immediate guidance to staff handling crisis calls and chats
- Assist with risk assessment, triage, and intervention planning to ensure safe and effective outcomes
- Monitor ongoing contacts and provide timely clinical input while supporting operational needs
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
- Maine clinical license (LCSW or LCPC preferred; conditional license accepted)
- Ability to obtain MHRT-CSP certification within 30 days of hire
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights
- Crisis work and supervisory experience preferred
