Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring compliance with state laws
  • Conduct timely reviews of patient charts and clinical documentation to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Participate in meetings and case reviews to discuss clinical performance and care improvement opportunities
Required qualifications
  • Current, active MD/DO license in the state of Maine
  • Active practice in the state of Maine
  • 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency
  • Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
