Maine Licensed Crisis Support Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Maine Licensed Crisis Support Specialist to provide overnight crisis intervention services via phone and chat, with the option to work remotely within Maine, while assessing caller needs and ensuring their safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess presenting problems and psychosocial stressors of callers in crisis
• Complete risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of callers
• Collaborate with Crisis Response Services across eight Districts in Maine

Required qualifications:

• Associate Degree required
• One year or more of crisis or mental health-related experience preferred
• Ability to earn MHRT-CSP certification within 30 days of employment
• Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment is a plus
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and other screenings
