Job Summary
Supporting the planning and implementation of Electronic Health Record Modernization, the full-time Maine Licensed EMR Specialist will provide hands-on technical assistance for EHR projects, coordinate with healthcare partners, and develop implementation documentation while working remotely with some in-state travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of EHR and telehealth initiatives aligned with program goals
- Provide hands-on technical assistance with EHR implementation, upgrade, or replacement projects
- Coordinate with healthcare partners, vendors, and internal teams during implementation and scale-up
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations or health technology implementation
- Demonstrated experience planning and implementing EHR initiatives within healthcare delivery systems
- Hands-on experience working with telehealth platforms or digital patient engagement tools
- Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows and EHR system integration
