Job Summary

A company is looking for a Family Support Specialist to provide support and assistance to families with youth involved in mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to families, empowering them to engage in the care process
• Participate in service meetings and community activities to enhance parent involvement
• Act as a "values speaker" to improve family-professional partnerships within agencies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be a family member of a person with complex emotional or medical needs
• Completion of a designated peer support curriculum or willingness to complete upon hire
• Familiarity with Children's Behavioral Health Home (CBHH) processes
• Good driving record and ability to pass background checks
