Job Summary

A company is looking for an Agency Information Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agencies to enhance the state's security posture through assessments and proactive measures
• Exercise independent judgment on security matters, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Serve as the primary contact for cybersecurity issues, coordinating incident responses and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in information security and leadership roles
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field; equivalent experience may substitute for degree
• Expertise with Security and Privacy Controls as per NIST standards
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Preferred experience with disaster recovery and regulatory compliance for protected data
