Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance on medical aspects related to peer review and utilization review activities
• Represent the organization during administrative appeal hearings and provide independent clinical judgment
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and oversee the medical content of clinical guidance documents

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of active clinical practice
• 5+ years of experience as a physician executive with accomplishments in managed care strategies
• Current medical license (MD or DO) as a psychiatrist in the state of Maine
• Board certification in a clinical specialty in the state of Maine
