Job Summary
Supporting pharmacy quality initiatives, the full-time Maine Licensed Pharmacy Quality Specialist will focus on improving medication-related quality outcomes through member outreach, data review, and care coordination, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic outreach to members to identify barriers to medication adherence and facilitate timely access to prescribed medications
- Run and review reports to identify medication-related care gaps and support resolution through collaboration with providers and pharmacies
- Document outreach and intervention outcomes accurately, maintaining logs and reports to monitor quality measure performance
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license required
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or exposure to pharmacy or managed care pharmacy preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare Part D, Stars, and HEDIS quality measures preferred
