Job Summary
Supporting students at an elementary school, the part-time Maine Licensed School Social Worker will provide individual social work services according to each student's IEP, focusing on building coping and social skills in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual social work services to approximately 11 students in grades K-6
- Schedule and conduct 30-minute individual sessions, collaborating with teachers and IEP teams
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs for each student
Required qualifications
- Active Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW)
- Valid Maine license or certification for school social work practice
- Minimum of one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience, excluding internships
- Experience providing counseling and behavioral interventions in a school setting
