Job Summary
Managing a team of medical providers, the full-time Maine Licensed Senior Staff Provider will deliver direct member care and oversee administrative responsibilities, ensuring quality treatment for opioid use disorder through telemedicine and in-person consultations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct care to members, including group and individual sessions, while managing a panel of members and reviewing care plans
- Support onboarding, training, and performance improvement initiatives for medical providers, while conducting chart reviews and direct care observations
- Serve as a medical consultant for interdisciplinary care team meetings and act as the primary point of contact for medical concerns and escalations
Required qualifications
- Active, unencumbered medical license (APRN/PA) in the relevant state and DEA registration
- Minimum of 1 year experience managing opioid use disorder with buprenorphine and completion of the minimum 8-hour SAMSHA training
- At least 2 years experience in a team-based care setting with behavioral health providers
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with experience in recovery-sensitive practices
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services for telehealth capabilities
