Job Summary
Seeking experienced educators, the part-time Maine Licensed Social Work Faculty will develop and teach online courses in Human Services and Social Work, focusing on areas such as multiculturalism, ethics, and crisis intervention in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Social Work and related fields
- Engage with students through asynchronous online interactions, ensuring academic quality and support
- Participate in course development and curriculum enhancement as needed
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field for undergraduate courses; Doctorate or terminal degree for graduate courses
- Significant work experience in Human Services or Social Work
- Experience teaching at the college level, preferably online
- Familiarity with competency-based education models
- Access to necessary technology for online teaching, including a computer, high-speed internet, webcam, and microphone
