Job Summary
Seeking a part-time, remote Maine Licensed Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, who will design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide specialized instruction, and manage student services for K-12 students in a virtual setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide specialized instruction and conduct educational assessments to support student growth
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to coordinate services and promote student success
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Valid Maine Special Education teaching certificate with Endorsement 282
- 3+ years of experience as a virtual Special Education Teacher and Case Manager
- Experience providing direct and indirect services in a Life Skills classroom setting
- Demonstrated experience with Special Education case management and IEP documentation
