Maine Licensed Telehealth Neurologist

Job Summary

To provide high-quality virtual neurology care, the full-time Maine Licensed Telehealth Neurologist will conduct remote visits focusing on memory disorders and dementia care, while managing patient evaluations and collaborating with care teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual neurology visits for new and existing patients, emphasizing memory disorders and dementia care
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions in accordance with telehealth standards
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and referring providers to develop and adjust patient care plans

Required qualifications

• Board certified/eligible neurologist with an active, unrestricted medical license in Maine
• Experience diagnosing and managing memory disorders, dementia, or related cognitive conditions
• Prior telehealth experience is required
• Experience providing anti-amyloid therapy and monitoring patients receiving these medications
• Comfortable working independently in a contract (1099) capacity with a flexible visit schedule
