Job Summary
Providing senior-level clinical leadership, the part-time Lead Tuberculosis & Respiratory Disease Consultant will manage Maine's TB program operations, offer consultation on respiratory disease initiatives, and collaborate with public health partners, all while working remotely with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a medical consultant for Maine's TB program and lead quarterly consultant meetings
- Provide clinical support and guidance across respiratory disease initiatives, including influenza and COVID-19
- Engage in public health surveillance, data analysis, and reporting while collaborating with local, state, and federal partners
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Maine
- 3-5 years of public health experience, ideally in respiratory or infectious diseases
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team coordination or supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
