Maine Licensed VP of Pharmacy Services
Job Summary
Providing strategic leadership for pharmacy operations, the full-time Maine Licensed VP of Pharmacy Services will manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and oversee formulary management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Directs all pharmacy operations to achieve financial performance and sustainability goals
- Ensures compliance with payer, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, including CMS MA bid processes
- Establishes performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes
Required qualifications
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD required; PharmD and MBA preferred
- Maine and New Hampshire pharmacy license (or eligible)
- 10 years of experience in managed care and retail pharmacy
- Experience in pharmacy vendor management and Medicare bid development
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part D regulations and pharmacy benefit design
