Job Summary

Supporting statewide and local youth engagement initiatives, the part-time Maine Program Facilitator will plan and facilitate youth-led programming, co-facilitate training sessions, and contribute to curriculum development focused on public health, social justice, and youth leadership.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate and support youth-led programming initiatives and group development
  • Co-facilitate content and skill-based training with youth and assist in designing new curricula
  • Research and develop curricula related to positive youth development and restorative practices
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency with 1-2 years of experience in positive youth development or workshop facilitation
  • Familiarity with Maine's youth communities, particularly in racial and social justice contexts
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ youth and youth of color
  • Preferred experience in group facilitation, dialogue, and event planning
  • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and engage effectively with young people and adults
