Mainframe Access Control Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen and safeguard the organization's mainframe environment, the full-time Mainframe Access Control Engineer will develop and enforce security controls, implement security standards, and serve as the primary contact for stakeholders on mainframe security issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security controls, policies, and procedures for the mainframe environment
• Administer RACF access controls and analyze JCL job flows to ensure compliance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of the z/OS environment and monitor user activity

Required qualifications

• Experience with RACF and mainframe security protocols
• Knowledge of z/OS environment and JCL job flows
• Ability to evaluate and integrate new security tools
• Experience in conducting audits and following up on findings
• Understanding of secure file transmission practices
