Mainframe Assembler Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Assembler/Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document technical design for applications and systems
• Design, code, and maintain new application solutions and existing systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve application problems while conducting testing and debugging

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of recent experience with Assembler, CICS, and COBOL
• At least 5 years of experience working in the US
• Strong technical coding skills and familiarity with SDLC
• Experience with DB2, Command-Level CICS, JCL, Batch, and TSO/ISPF
• Understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry is a plus
