Mainframe Assembler Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Assembler/Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document technical designs for data, workflows, and systems
• Design, code, and maintain application solutions, integrating changes as necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve application problems, conducting testing and debugging as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of recent experience with Assembler, CICS, and COBOL
• At least 5 years of experience working in the US
• Strong technical coding skills with experience in DB2, Command-Level CICS, JCL, Batch, and TSO/ISPF
• Familiarity with SDLC and experience in an Agile environment is preferred
• Knowledge of FIS systems and the financial services industry is a plus
