Mainframe Assembler Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Assembler/Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflow, and systems
• Design, code, and maintain application solutions, integrating changes to existing solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve application problems, conducting testing and debugging as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of recent experience in Assembler, CICS, and COBOL
• At least 5 years of experience working in the US
• Strong experience with DB2, Command-Level CICS, JCL, Batch, and TSO/ISPF
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred
