Mainframe Automation Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Automation Engineer, National Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate OPSMVS and Netview/SA rules and scripts to replace manual operator commands
- Create system monitoring rules and scripts for monitoring system messages and conditions
- Assist in GDPS software installation and script coding for Disaster Recovery processes
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with TSO, ISPF, and SDSF
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with zOS operations commands
- 5+ years of experience with REXX coding and automation rules for zSystems
- 2+ years of experience with GDPS installation and script coding for Disaster Recovery
